Matte White Bear by François Pompon
For art lovers, this is an elegant and unique gift idea.
Pompon spent most of his life serving other artists. He directed Rodin's workshop from 1890 to 1895, then becoming assistant to René de Saint-Marceaux until 1916. In search of his own style, he was largely influenced by the rise of Japonism and his admiration for Egyptian art.
It was only at the age of 67 that he achieved fame, with the exhibition of his famous White Bear.
